Welcome to 2022!
We’re two months into 2022 and there are already a few events you don’t want to miss from Landmarks! Read below to learn more.
Common Ground
Originally scheduled for January, Common Ground has new dates!
The spirit of Common Ground is in keeping with Landmarks’ longtime encouragement of international reconciliation. The program is made up of works in which composers have taken ideas from other cultures and blended them with their own.
Featuring Bach’s Brandenburg No. 5, William Grant Still’s Ennanga, Fela Sowande’s “Joyful Day” from African Suite and so much more, this concert will be sure to bring joy and warmth during the cold winter month.
These concerts will take place on February 26th at Hibernian Hall at 7pm, and February 27th at Bethel AME at 5pm.

National Endowment for the Arts Grant
The National Endowment for the Arts recently announced $57,750,000 in grant funding from the American Rescue Plan to 567 arts organizations to help the arts and cultural sector recover from the pandemic.
Landmarks Orchestra is pleased to share that we are recommended for a grant of $50,000. This funding will allow us to provide programming and creative opportunities as we recover from the pandemic. We are so grateful for this opportunity!
